 Cancellation Policy

Emergency Response reserve the right to cancel courses if there are insufficient students to make a course viable. This cancellation may be made at any time up to ten days before a course and no liability may be accepted for costs incurred by potential students until confirmation is received by the students.

If students back out of courses with less than 28 days notice but more than 15 they will be liable to 50% of the cost of the course. If less than 15 day’s notice is given then the full cost of the course will be due.

Green Policy

Emergency Response recognises that our work may have a direct or indirect effect on the local, regional and global environment. We are committed to reducing any harmful effects on the environment and promoting the understanding of sustainability in its broadest context, wherever possible.

Communication – Emergency Response will utilise electronic methods of communication by sending invoices, letters and sales literature by email wherever possible to reduce our carbon footprintand unnecessary use of paper.

Travel – Where possible Emergency Response employees will car-share or use public transport to attend training courses, meetings or events.

Privacy Policy

  1. This site is owned and operated by Emergency Response (UK).

  3. Except in the limited circumstances mentioned below, we do not collect your personal information when you enter or use my site.

  4. We collect your e-mail address when you make enquiries about services and products.  If you wish to stop receiving emails, you can do so at any time by sending an email with ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject line to sales@emergencyresponse.co.uk.

  5. Apart from the uses described in paragraph 4 above, the only circumstances in which we would disclose any of this information to any third party is if we are required to do so by any regulatory or judicial authority.

  6. The site may sometimes contain links to third party websites that are not subject to this privacy policy.  We recommend that you read the privacy policy of any such websites that you visit.

We use reasonable precautions to keep the information disclosed to me secure.   However, we cannot guarantee the security of the information that you disclose to us.  You accept the inherent risks of providing information and dealing on-line and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.

This policy is effective from 1st May 2009.  We may, from time to time, make changes to this privacy policy to reflect any changes to our privacy practices in accordance with changes to legislation, best practice or website enhancements.  We will let you know what these changes are by posting them to this page, but it is your responsibility as a user to make sure that you are aware of them, by checking for any changes on a regular basis.  Changes will become effective as soon as they are posted.
